How do I enrol my child at Imani Montessori?

Start by scheduling a visit or sending an enquiry. We will learn your child’s age and needs, show you the school, answer your questions, then share the admission requirements, fee structure and available start dates.

Why should we visit before admission?

A visit lets you experience the classrooms, meet the teachers and feel the rhythm of the school. It also helps us understand your child so we can guide you toward the right class and transition plan.

Which age groups do you currently admit?

We welcome children from 18 months and guide families through Infant, Toddler, Pre-school and Cambridge Key Stage 1 Year 1 pathways, depending on age, readiness and space availability.

What should I prepare before my child starts school?

After your visit, we share the practical checklist: admission forms, fee details, school requirements and simple guidance to help your child settle into the school routine.

Where is the school located?

Imani Montessori School is in Lavington, off James Gichuru Road. Please schedule a visit in advance so the team can give your family proper attention when you arrive.

Where can I find the fee structure?

You can request the current fee structure during your enquiry or tour. We will walk you through the fees clearly and help you understand what applies to your child’s age group.

Do you offer online classes?

No. Our learning is built around hands-on Montessori materials, social development, movement and classroom experience, so classes are offered in person.

Can I meet my child’s teacher to discuss progress?

Yes. We encourage open communication with parents and can schedule a conversation with your child’s teacher when you need to discuss progress, settling or support.

How do you help a child settle in?

We keep the transition warm and gradual. Teachers observe the child closely, help them build confidence with the environment and keep parents informed as the child adjusts.

What makes the Imani approach different?

Children are supported to grow through hands-on discovery, independence, movement, language, practical life and social confidence. We guide each child at their own pace while keeping a clear sense of routine and care.
