Montessori Learning Provides Children Ample Time to Grow
Every teacher at Imani Montessori School is well able to support and nurture every child’s individual interests. The materials we use in our classrooms are designed to support the children’s growth and to give them an opportunity to discover their interests through their own engagement.
By interacting with their peers the children are able to foster meaningful roles in the lives of other children. A Montessori education nurtures children ability to build a sense of themselves.
The Montessori way of learning supports children to be collaborative, curious, and full of wonder. It instills an intrinsic desire and motivation to learn.
The materials are arranged in specific ways, unique to the development of each child. The Montessori education provides children adequate time to flourish and grow out of their own curiosity and interests, no matter how long it takes.
Even at home we encourage parents to provide their children ample time to learn and to experience life authentically.
